Aubrey brings a unique blend of calm confidence and sharp legal insight to Bounds Law. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Law, she’s a trusted advisor for business owners navigating contracts, compliance, and long-term planning. Her passion for boxing, sailing, and cheering on her Sooners in the fall is matched only by her dedication to helping small businesses stay protected and positioned for growth.

Shayna Brazeal is a passionate legal advocate focused on protecting small businesses. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law with an emphasis in International Law and brings a well-rounded background in International Law, Intellectual Property, and Immigration Law. As captain of the International Moot Court team, Shayna honed her advocacy and legal research skills on a global stage. Growing up around her father’s corporation, she gained firsthand insight into the challenges business owners face—fueling her commitment to helping clients stay protected and prepared.
Law Clerk
Bella Villegas is a third-year law student at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and serves as a Law Clerk. She supports the firm through legal research, client communication, and case coordination. Bella has hands-on experience in intellectual property and business formation, and currently offers pro bono support through UMKC’s Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurial Services Clinic. She previously worked in UMKC’s Tax Clinic and contributed to a startup project for the Regnier Venture Creation Challenge.
Outside the office, she loves checking out local breweries, running with her pitbull, and supporting small businesses any way she can. She’s one to watch—and we’re lucky to have her in the team!

Of-Counsel Patent Attorney
Thomas Reichert is a licensed attorney in Missouri, Illinois, and before the USPTO, and serves as a Full Time Professor of Law at Southern Illinois University. He brings deep experience in intellectual property and corporate law, with a focus on aligning IP strategy with business and engineering goals. Thomas advises clients in AI, machine learning, 3D printing, medical devices, and consumer electronics, and is especially skilled in IP portfolio management, patent and trademark procurement, and licensing agreements. He holds a J.D., M.B.A., M.Eng., and B.E. from Southern Illinois University.
Outside the office, Thomas is a lifelong learner and avid tech enthusiast, always experimenting with new innovations in AI and 3D printing.
